Emma Reeves dealt with: Barking at people, dogs, animals, birds or where the dog barks for attention or at the slightest noise Destructive chewing that results in destruction of furniture, woodwork etc Hyperactivity Jumping up at visitors or the dog jumps up at people on walks Pulling on the Lead Recall or not coming when called Separation Anxiety Toileting

We are fist time dog owners since having family pets as children. We did not know what to expect and were very open minded.

I am very glad that we made the decision to better equip ourselves to care for our English Staffy and to have a well mannered dog at home and out in public.

Emma is very friendly, patient and informative - I wish we could keep you. It has not been over night but we are getting there. The training has taught me that it is us owners that need to be consistent and thorough with what has been taught in our lessons. (humans are more difficult to train than animals lol ) We now enjoy walks without pulling and look forward to a continued relationship with Bark Busters. Thank you Emma.

Really great experience

Trainer note from Emma:
Roxy is a 2 year old German Shepherd who had only been living with her new family for one day.
Knowing that Roxy came with a list of bad behaviours they wanted to make sure that they got off on the right track.

During their first speak dog session we dealt with:
๐Ÿพ barking
๐Ÿพ jumping
๐Ÿพ pulling on the lead
๐Ÿพ nipping & mouthing
๐Ÿพ sit & stay
๐Ÿพ behaviour around the chickens
๐Ÿพ excessive licking
๐Ÿพ gate control

Roxy's family did an awesome job during their first session & I am looking forward to seeing them again soon.

We had our first speak dog session today and it went so well! The training is simple and easy to follow, and Jaxon is already responding well! We are excited to see his progression as we continue training. We have had issues with Jaxon pulling while walking amongst other things, and by the end of the session he was walking along next to us calm as you like. He was also exhausted which is great to see as it takes a lot to wear him out ๐Ÿ˜… thanks Emma!!

Trainer note from Emma:
Jaxon is a 2.5 year old Mastiff x Red Heeler, rescue dog, who joined his family in February.
Along with pulling on the lead Jaxon was causing trouble with aggressive behaviour towards some people and dogs, separation anxiety and not always coming when called. His family did a great job during their first session, and I'm sure with their commitment to training Jaxon he will come on in leaps and bounds in no time!

The trainer Ms Emma was very professional and helped solve all our issues with 2 dogs and showed us to be masters too.

Trainer note from Emma:
Thanks Sahmi ๐Ÿ˜„

Sebastian & Bella, are 10 year old Miniature Pinschers, who joined Bark Busters back in 2014.
Their family recently moved house to a much smaller suburban block, which is surrounded by neighbours & dogs. This been quite unsettling for Sebastian & Bella, and they have been patrolling the fence line & barking.

Thanks to Bark Busters Lifetime Support we were back to help their family get back on track.

I booked in with Emma after Marloโ€™s behaviour kept worsening. After only a few days I saw huge improvements especially while walking her on a lead. I feel like my fur baby and I are spending more quality time with eachother as itโ€™s no longer spent being frustrated with pulling, jumping or barking! Definitely feeling a lot more confident as a dog owner and myself and my neighbours can sleep through a barkless night now. Thank you! And cannot wait for our next session.

Trainer note from Emma:
Marlo is a 3 year old Blue Heeler who was causing trouble with her bad behaviour.

During our first session, along with the barking, jumping and pulling on the lead, we worked on her behaviour around the front door, dog reactivity, not chasing scooters or bikes (or anything with wheels) and sit & stay.

Her mum did an amazing job during our first session & I'm looking forward to our next appointment to see their continued improvements.

Emma recently came to our home to help teach us to train our 11 week old labradoodle Lexi.

Lexi had been giving us all sorts of trouble. Biting, jumping, snarling, digging to name just a few things. Emma was extremely knowledgeable, professional and a lovely lady. Lexi responded so fast & well to Emma. After our first few hours of training we now feel we have the right skills required to help teach Lexi to become the dog we had hoped for. To know Emma will be following us up and only a phone call away if needed is of great piece of mind.

i would highly recommend Emma. :)

Trainer note from Emma:
Thanks Donella :)

Lexi was a bit of a trouble maker, she was a very assertive pup, in only a couple of weeks she had completely taken over her new home, and she was keeping everyone "in-check" by biting them!

We worked on showing her family how to take back the control of their house which allows Lexi to relax in the knowledge that she doesn't have to worry about everything. They are now able to stop the jumping, growling, snapping and biting which previously was a very regular occurrence, and we also worked on recall, walking on a lead, behaviour around doorways and chewing!

Keep up the great work guys, and I will be back to see you soon.

Emma was great & informative.

I was nervous just with Dex's issues.

Trainer note from Emma:
Dexter the 10 month old Corgi x Kelpie x Mastiff, only joined his family about a week ago.
His family called Bark Busters for help after he was aggressive towards the dad, Dexter actually bit him a few times.
Along with the aggression Dexter was also causing trouble with barking, jumping, pulling on the lead, not listening to his owners, not always coming when called and digging.

His family did a great job during their first speak dog session and we saw a huge turn around in Dexter's behaviour. They still have work to do, but with their continued training Dexter will become a calm & relaxed young dog.

Keep up the great works guys & I will be back to see you soon.

When Emma came into the house and watched the dogs in their environment, she knew exactly what issues the dogs had, even issues i didn't think they had especially Frankie.

She went through the flip chart and explained everything really well and i quickly realised that i was doing pretty much everything wrong.

Once we got into the training and started using the refocus word the dogs responded pretty much immediately. They are slowly but surely realising that we are the leaders now.

There has been a massive improvement within the first week.

I am extremely grateful for Emma's help.

Trainer note from Emma:
Frankie, a 2 year old English Staffy, and Rosie, a 4 year old Kelpie x Rottweiler, were not getting along.
Frankie was being aggressive towards Rosie when the family was around.
They would both bark at EVERYTHING, jump on everyone, pull on their leads, and not come when called. They also wouldn't always sit or stay when told, would steal things from the bin, and sometimes they would also dig & chew things up.

By the end of their first speak dog session we saw huge improvements in both dogs!
Their family still have a way to go, but with Bark Busters life of the dog support they are certainly on their way to calm, relaxed, obedient dogs.

Lovely lady who obviously knows her job. Clear instructions, great demonstrations. Noddy and his owner's benefited from the new regime.

Trainer note from Emma:
Noddy is a 4 year old Jack Russell x Fox Terrier.
When his mum called Bark Busters for help she described him as an ESCAPOLOGIST!
Along with the escaping, Noddy was also causing trouble with barking, jumping, dog reactivity, not coming when called & hyperactive behaviour.
Noddy's family did a great job during their first speak dog session.

Looking forward to our next visit.

Emma was very thorough and knowledgeable. She provided all support equipment and could answer any questions we had. She gave us some great tips regarding Aggys diet and helped us understand why his behaviour may have changed. She explained and showed all the training exercises really well. I have already recommended her to my neighbours.

Trainer note from Emma:
Agro (or Aggy as he is more affectionately known) is a 4 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback x Mastiff.
Aggy's family called Bark Busters for help after he attacked another dog.
He was also causing trouble with:
- barking
- jumping
- pulling on the lead
- not coming when called
- over excited behaviour
- very easily distracted

They all did a fantastic job during their first speak dog session and Aggy was a very tired boy by the end of the session.

Keep up the great work guys.
