Hi, my name is Ken and I am your  local Bark Busters Behaviour Therapist and Dog Trainer for the Northern Beaches, Sydney area.

I have been around dogs all my life. I always thought that I could train and understand all dogs, until I got my German Spitz, Joey. He was having barking problems along with fear of other dogs. I had tried two different dog training companies over the years. Finally I contacted Bark Busters and that decision changed our lives. I did not have high expectations but that soon changed when I met my Bark Busters therapist. The simple training and effective methods based on communication were so easy and very effective for Joey and I to understand from the very first visit. We love each other more than ever thanks to Bark Busters.

I remember one In Home lesson where I was called to assist the owners, they needed some help with a new dog they had rescued from a shelter to save its life. It was a 3 year old Maltese Terrier which turned out to have some very real dog aggression issues .
This dog was just lovely, until it saw another dog on their daily walks, it then turned into a growling, barking, lunging dog that was ready to take on any dog it saw, big or small! My clients were at the point where they were reluctant to go walking with their new companion as it had all become so stressful. After taking time to clearly explain to my client our system, why, what and how we would be dealing with this behaviour issue, out we went to begin the training. All we had to do was one correction and that was it. The dog responded to all the training so quickly, the owners were just amazed by the outstanding results. They remembered one very important thing, and that was to always communicate with their dog in a language it understood.  

I have been so happy to have this opportunity to join the world’s largest and most trusted dog training company. Becoming a dog trainer and working to help people improve their relationship between dog and owners is the most enjoyable career in the world. I love what I do.
