John Blackhawk - Dog Training Central Coast

I grew up with dogs, and have lived with them all my life.

Our groodle, Gracie, had some embarrassing and annoying behavioural problems.  She used to pull so badly on the lead that I had to book a chiropractic appointment in advance before she went for a walk with me!

After a short visit from a friend, who had just completed the training course with Bark Busters the week before, that problem was fixed in a matter of minutes. Now we go for walks and it’s a pleasure.

Gracie also barked maniacally at motorbikes, prams, and skateboards - very embarrassing! It always made us feel very tense.

Then there was Cooper, Gracie’s brother, adopted by us at 5 years. He barked so loudly in the car that it was hard to concentrate on driving, and was clearly a potential danger for all passengers, human and canine.

Gracie has now taken her place in the family as a well behaved member of it. Cooper too is a model passenger, settling for a wagging tail and lots of slobber on the way to the beach now. We’re certainly happier and they clearly are too.

Once these problems had been addressed by Bark Busters, I thought I’d love to do this kind work. Such effective training with quick results was very impressive. I made the necessary enquiries and here I am, helping people enjoy their own dogs on many levels, and loving it.

Dogs do not know when they are doing the wrong thing.  They are simple thinking creatures, and I found out it was me that was complicating things for them, stressing them and myself out.  Dogs want nothing more than to please their owners; however they need to be shown how.
