G’day, my name is Angela and I’m your local Bark Busters Dog Training expert for the Brisbane North East Area.

I have always loved animals of all kinds and have dreamed of working with them. When I saw the opportunities that Bark Busters was offering I just couldn’t pass it up.  Becoming a Bark Busters Therapist was the solution, and I have never looked back!

In this day and age it’s so hard to find the time to do anything - especially to train your four legged friend - but with Bark Busters we come to you. The training is held in the comfort of your own home (where most problems exist) and our simple, gentle communications based methods will see you noticing a significant change in your dog's behaviour in just two to three hours.

After finding Bark Busters and using the techniques on our rescued dogs, Shamus the Irish Setter X German Short Haired Pointer and Dallas the Rottweiler X, we were able to quickly stop our dog’s basic behavioural issues, turning them into prized pooches. 

A great story of how Bark Busters can help you is I had a client that was at her wits end with her Poodle.  She had tried everything under the sun to help with the separation anxiety that he suffered from.  She lived in a retirement village and was given two weeks to get her Poodle under control or she would have to surrender it. A neighbour recommended calling Bark Busters to help with her Poodle.  The client could not leave the house as her Poodle would bark the whole time she was out and annoy the neighbours.  This was no life for her to have to live so I was very happy when she called me to make the appointment as I knew both her and the dog were stressed out.  After showing her the techniques to use and applying them at the lesson the Poodle quickly responded in a positive way and was quite happy to let my client take over as the Pack Leader.

A follow up visit was conducted two weeks later and I had to make sure she had keep up with the training as we both didn’t want her dog to be surrendered.  She was very happy to report that she had gone out for a few hours three times that week and the neighbours said they heard nothing from her house.  They didn’t even realise she had gone out!!! She was so grateful that she gave me a hug and a box of chocolates.  I was also very relieved that she had kept up with the training.
