"The best job in the world," is how Bark Busters Chris Farrant describes what he does each day. A former journalist and singer/musician, Chris owns the Bark Busters Adelaide East and Hills office and also looks after many of the country areas of South Australia.
"Our training is great fun for dogs and owners, of any age, no matter what the problem," Chris says. "Knowing we can help people enjoy good communication and control with their dogs in just a couple of hours means owners can see their results straight away. And we use absolutely no physical methods, which is so important. Raising a dog is great fun and very rewarding."
"Every dog is different though, so having someone come to the home and deal with any training personally and specifically in the real life situation is not only convenient, but absolutely crucial. Nearly all the behaviours we deal with occur in and around the home, on the walk, etc. It makes so much sense to teach people to teach their dog in its own environment."
"Learning is something that dogs love to do, so when your dog understands what you want, you have a much happier dog. Of course, teaching owners is just as important. Voice control is terrific. Effective control can keep your dog happy and out of trouble!"
Under the unique Australia-wide Gold Class Service, Chris says Bark Busters will return free of charge after the first session to provide any ongoing assistance - for the rest of the dog's life. "It means our clients are never on their own - we base our business on achieving, and maintaining, results for people and their dogs."
